Dr. Seth Nelson
Early injuries caused 13 years of life-changing back issues. I got help from a chiropractor during high school, and while I was able to play basketball in college, I was always guarded and worried about my back. The chronic pain left me frustrated with my body.
During chiropractic school, the pain became unbearable. I was ready to quit! It was exhausting to spend every day in pain. At the exact right time, a friend invited me for a weekend of “different continuing education”, that lead to a whole new path of learning and excitement to help people.
I began training in functional medicine which has continued for more than 14 years. After more than 10 years in practice I have added certifications in therapies and treatments for muscles tendons and ligaments, extensive training in disc-related injuries, certifications in the McKenzie Method and animal chiropractic care. These different approaches all come together to make for a big picture experience when you come to our clinic.
I love evolving my skills to provide a quality experience for patients! My goal is to give as many people as I can the power over health and how the body feels. It’s my mission to give the gift I was given; the hope of feeling my best every day. I am a dad, husband, and geek. For instance, don’t get me started on Lord of the Rings or Middle Earth in general! I enjoy playing video games and being outdoors as much as possible. I look forward to helping you on your health journey!

I’ve been part of the team since February 2020, and I absolutely love what I do. With a background in healthcare and experience as a health coach, helping people improve their quality of life has always been a true passion of mine. Working as a chiropractic assistant allows me to combine compassion and empathy while providing a variety of therapies, and it’s especially rewarding to witness the real, positive changes our patients experience every day.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family of seven and being a grandma. I enjoy camping, boating, hiking, crafting, and being actively involved in my church.

As the Patient Care Coordinator, I help our patients navigate their insurance benefits and understand billing. When our practitioners recommend a care plan, I walk patients through the associated costs and assist with scheduling appointments. Before stepping into this role, I served as our Front Desk Manager since 2021. Behind the scenes, I work to ensure every client has a smooth, stress-free experience.
Outside the clinic, I’m a mom to three young men, a wife, keeper of chickens and geese, enthusiastic bread baker, home cook, and crafter.

Having experienced the ups and downs of chiropractic care myself, I understand the healing journey and strive to offer the same compassion and support I once received—both for people and animals. I’m certified in animal chiropractic, dry needling, and have advanced training, along with experience as an instructor at Rasmussen University, where I developed a strong focus on patient education. I believe every question is valid, and if I don’t have the answer, I’ll help you find it.
I grew up in Le Center and now live nearby on our family farm with my husband and three kids. We raise crops, beef, and dairy cows. I love spending time outdoors, cooking, baking, canning, and caring for others as if they were my own family.
