FAKTR
FAKTR (actually FAKTR-PM, but referred to as FAKTR) stands for “Functional And Kinetic Treatment with Rehabilitation, Provocation, and Motion.” It was developed to help speed recovery from chronic musculoskeletal pain syndromes and has also been shown to work extremely well to treat acute chiropractic musculoskeletal/fascial conditions.
FAKTR involves the combination of several different forms of chiropractic therapy. Instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) is used to locate and remove myofascial adhesions or restrictions. These therapies, in combination with rehabilitation exercises, strengthen the tissues while restrictions are being removed.
We combine FAKTR techniques with personalized rehabilitative exercise to ensure your soft tissue heals in a way that supports functional movement.
